Owner & CEO
Karen Beatty French is an educator and educational consultant with expertise in literacy, special education, and instructional support. As the founder of KRB Connect, she partners with schools, nonprofits, and community organizations to design curriculum, provide professional development, and implement strategies that strengthen family engagement and student success.
With over 21 years of experience as a special educator and reading remediation teacher in public schools, Karen has supported students with disabilities and literacy challenges while collaborating with teachers and school leaders to develop individualized plans, implement interventions, and align practices with state and federal guidelines. Her classroom experience shaped her belief that strong family-school-community connections are essential to student achievement.

Now, as an educational consultant, Karen blends her background in teaching with her skills in coaching, training, and program development. She specializes in creating literacy-focused programs, designing parent engagement strategies, and delivering professional learning that equips educators and families with practical tools to foster academic growth.
